Cowie Damascus Steel Bevel Wedding Ring

Defined bevelled edges frame the circular Damascus grain of the Cowie Bevel wedding ring. Its structured concentric pattern gives the steel a strong visual identity, while the angled profile adds a crisp, contemporary outline. Each band is made to order by Graeme in our Aberdeenshire workshop.

A distinctive concentric Damascus pattern

Cowie features circular formations that appear within the layered steel and are brought out by etching. The shapes are more organised than the irregular, ripple-like circles of our Dee pattern, although natural variations mean no two rings have exactly the same arrangement. The pattern is part of the metal itself, not a surface print.

What does the Bevel profile add?

The angled edges create a defined border around Cowie's patterned surface. They catch the light differently from the main face of the ring and give the band a more geometric silhouette. Compared with the softly rounded Cowie Court, the Bevel profile offers a sharper-looking outline while keeping the circular grain as the centrepiece.

Handmade in our Scottish workshop

Graeme machines the band from layered 304L and 316L stainless steels, etches the surface to reveal the Damascus pattern and completes the finish by hand. Each ring is made to your selected size and specifications, with your choice of width and surface finish.

Polished or satin finish

Polished steel creates brighter reflections along the bevelled edges and patterned centre. A satin finish gives a more muted brushed appearance. Neither option hides the distinctive concentric grain of Cowie.

Important information about engraving

Standard internal engraving is included if selected. Choosing engraving means we polish away the etched Damascus pattern on the inside of the band to create a smooth area for your inscription. The outside of the ring retains its Cowie pattern.

What's included and care

We provide a free ring sizer before making begins and free tracked UK delivery. Clean gently with mild soap and warm water, then dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive products;
