Crynoch Damascus Steel Bevel Wedding Ring

The Crynoch Bevel ring combines flowing Damascus steel grain with a more defined edge. Angled bevels frame the patterned centre of the band, giving this handmade Damascus steel wedding ring a structured silhouette without losing the movement that makes Crynoch distinctive.

Graeme makes each ring to order in our Aberdeenshire workshop, with your choice of width, finish and internal engraving.

Flowing Crynoch Damascus pattern

Crynoch develops its character through a gentle twist in layered Damascus steel. Tighter sections of grain open into wider flowing lines, and etching reveals the contrast within the steel. Because the grain varies naturally, no two finished Crynoch bands have exactly the same appearance.

Our Damascus Steel Pattern Guide lets you compare Crynoch with the straighter Findon pattern, the tighter Esk and Bervie grains, and the circular forms of Dee and Cowie.

What makes the bevel profile different?

The bevelled edges create a visual border around the main Damascus surface. Compared with the gently rounded Crynoch Court ring, the Bevel has a sharper, more geometric outline. Compared with the straight-sided Crynoch Flat ring, its angled edges add another detail to the silhouette. It's a useful middle ground if you like a contemporary band but don't want an entirely flat exterior.

Made and finished in Scotland

Graeme machines each ring using layered 304L and 316L stainless steels, then etches and hand-finishes the surface to bring out the Crynoch pattern. The grain comes from the material itself rather than being printed or applied to the ring.

Choose your finish and width

Select your preferred width and a polished or satin finish. Polished steel catches highlights along the bevelled edges, while satin gives the surface a softer brushed appearance. The pattern remains visible with either finish. Standard engraving can be added inside the band if selected, and the ring is made to your confirmed size.

Included with your order

We provide a complimentary ring sizer before making begins. If you choose internal engraving, we polish away the etched Damascus pattern on the inside of the band to create a smooth surface for your inscription. Standard engraving is included, as is free tracked UK delivery.

Ordering & Making Your Ring

What is the best alternative metal for a wedding ring?

There is no single best metal. It depends on your preference for weight, finish and appearance. Titanium is extremely lightweight, Damascus Steel features unique layered patterns, Black Zirconium offers a deep black finish and Stainless Steel provides strength with a classic silver tone. You can compare all options in our Alternative Metal Wedding Rings Guide.

What is the thickness of the ring?

Our rings are crafted with an approximate thickness of 2 mm. This provides a balanced feel that is substantial enough for durability while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. Each ring is shaped and finished by hand, so there may be very slight variations, but all are designed to maintain a consistent and comfortable profile.

How can I check my size before ordering?

There are several ways to confirm your size: you can be measured at any jeweller and ask for the internal diameter, order a ring gauge yourself and let us know the result, use a ring that already fits and send it to us, or request one of our free ring sizers at checkout.
We’ll confirm any sizing details with you before we begin

What happens after I place my order?

After you order, we review your details and begin crafting your ring. If anything needs clarifying, we’ll contact you directly. Once complete, your ring is carefully packaged and sent via tracked UK delivery. You’ll receive tracking details as soon as it’s dispatched.

How long does it take to make a ring?

Most rings are ready within 2–3 weeks, but we recommend allowing 4 weeks before your wedding. Need it faster? Just let us know.

Is engraving included?

Engraving is always free. We can add names, dates, or even your own handwriting inside your wedding ring. To know more about handwriting engraving, take a look at this blog. . If the option is showing on the product listing, it is engravable.

Who actually makes my ring?

Every ring is made to order in our Scottish workshop by hand by Graeme, or G as he is known. We don’t outsource production or hold bulk stock. Your ring is crafted individually once your order is placed, then finished, checked and prepared for dispatch.

What are your return policies?

Because each ring is made to order in your chosen size and finish, returns are not available once production begins. We provide a complimentary ring sizer before crafting to ensure a confident fit.
