Dee Damascus Steel Bevel Wedding Ring
Irregular circular grain meets clean, angled edges in the Dee Bevel Damascus steel wedding ring. The bevelled profile creates a defined border around the patterned surface, contrasting with the free-flowing concentric shapes within the steel. Each ring is made to order by Graeme in our Aberdeenshire workshop.
A Damascus pattern with natural ripples
Dee features concentric circles and ripple-like formations that change in size and spacing around the band. Unlike a precisely repeating design, the grain has an irregular appearance, with each section of steel revealing a slightly different arrangement when etched. The pattern comes from the layered metal itself rather than being applied to its surface.

What makes the Bevel profile different?
The angled edges give this patterned steel wedding band a crisp, contemporary outline. They frame the irregular Dee grain without adding another material or decorative inlay. Compared with the rounded Dee Court, the Bevel has a more geometric silhouette. It's a good choice if you like the organic character of the pattern but want a clearly defined ring shape.
Handmade and finished in Scotland
Graeme machines each band from layered 304L and 316L stainless steels, etches the surface to bring out the concentric pattern and finishes the ring by hand. Your Dee Bevel is made to your chosen size, width and finish.
Choose a polished or satin finish
A polished finish gives brighter reflections along the angled edges and across the pattern. Satin creates a softer brushed appearance, while the contrasting Damascus grain remains visible. Choose the finish that best suits your preferred look.
Important information about engraving
Standard internal engraving is included if selected. Choosing engraving means we polish away the etched Damascus pattern on the inside of the band to create a smooth surface for the inscription. The exterior Dee pattern remains unchanged.
What's included and care
We provide a free ring sizer before making begins and free tracked UK delivery. Clean gently with mild soap and warm water, then dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive products.

What is the best alternative metal for a wedding ring?
There is no single best metal. It depends on your preference for weight, finish and appearance. Titanium is extremely lightweight, Damascus Steel features unique layered patterns, Black Zirconium offers a deep black finish and Stainless Steel provides strength with a classic silver tone. What is the thickness of the ring?
Our rings are crafted with an approximate thickness of 2 mm. This provides a balanced feel that is substantial enough for durability while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. Each ring is shaped and finished by hand, so there may be very slight variations, but all are designed to maintain a consistent and comfortable profile.
How can I check my size before ordering?
There are several ways to confirm your size: you can be measured at any jeweller and ask for the internal diameter, order a ring gauge yourself and let us know the result, use a ring that already fits and send it to us, or request one of our free ring sizers at checkout.

What happens after I place my order?
After you order, we review your details and begin crafting your ring. If anything needs clarifying, we’ll contact you directly. Once complete, your ring is carefully packaged and sent via tracked UK delivery. You’ll receive tracking details as soon as it’s dispatched.
How long does it take to make a ring?
Most rings are ready within 2–3 weeks, but we recommend allowing 4 weeks before your wedding. Need it faster? Just let us know.
Is engraving included?
Engraving is always free. We can add names, dates, or even your own handwriting inside your wedding ring. To know more about handwriting engraving, take a look at this blog. . If the option is showing on the product listing, it is engravable.
Who actually makes my ring?
Every ring is made to order in our Scottish workshop by hand by Graeme, or G as he is known. We don’t outsource production or hold bulk stock. Your ring is crafted individually once your order is placed, then finished, checked and prepared for dispatch.
What are your return policies?
Because each ring is made to order in your chosen size and finish, returns are not available once production begins. We provide a complimentary ring sizer before crafting to ensure a confident fit.
