Fine Damascus grain meets crisp, angled edges in the Esk Bevel wedding ring. This design takes the tightly condensed Esk pattern and frames it with a bevelled profile, creating a more defined outline than a traditional rounded band. Each ring is made to order by Graeme in our Aberdeenshire workshop.

Intricate Esk pattern, defined bevelled edges

Esk is one of our tighter Damascus steel patterns. The grain develops from a condensed twist in layered steel, producing closely spaced lines and subtle changes in direction around the band. Etching makes the layers visible, bringing out fine detail rather than broad, open swirls. The exact arrangement varies from ring to ring.

The bevelled edges give this patterned steel wedding band a geometric frame. They offer a different look from the Esk Court, which has a softly rounded exterior. If you want an alternative wedding ring with visible pattern and a sharper silhouette, the Esk Bevel is worth considering.

Handmade and finished in Scotland

Graeme machines each Esk Bevel ring using layered 304L and 316L stainless steels, then etches and hand-finishes it to reveal the Damascus pattern. The design is formed by the structure of the steel, not by printing a pattern onto the surface. Your ring is made to your selected size and specifications.

Width, finish and personalisation

Choose your preferred width and either a polished or satin finish. Polished steel picks up highlights along the angled edges and patterned centre; satin gives the ring a more subdued brushed appearance. Standard engraving is included if selected.

Important information about engraving

Choosing internal engraving means we polish away the etched Damascus pattern on the inside of the band to create a smooth area for the inscription. The patterned exterior is not removed.
