Titanium Ring with Single Opal Inlay
A clean titanium band with a brilliant line of colour. Our Titanium Ring with Single Opal Inlay brings together modern metalwork and a carefully handcrafted opal inlay, creating a ring that can be subtle, vivid or completely personal depending on the colours you choose.
Every ring is made to order in our Aberdeenshire workshop. Graeme machines and finishes the titanium band, while Katie creates the opal inlay by hand, carefully combining and arranging the opal pieces to achieve your chosen look.
Choose a fine 1mm or statement 2mm opal inlay
The 1mm inlay introduces a fine line of opal colour through the titanium, perfect for a more understated design. The 2mm inlay gives the opal more space to shine, creating a stronger feature with greater visual depth and colour.
Katie prepares the opal pieces and arranges them within the chosen channel before sealing the inlay beneath a smooth, clear resin finish. The opal catches the light from different angles, revealing flashes of colour and giving each ring its own distinctive appearance.
Make the opal colour your own
Choose an opal colour that reflects your favourite shade, complements another piece of jewellery or simply catches your eye. The opal's appearance can also change dramatically depending on the base colour beneath it: darker bases can create strong contrast, while lighter bases can give a brighter overall effect.

Opal colour matching for an engagement ring
Looking for a wedding band that complements an existing engagement ring? Select the Colour Match option and we can create an opal blend chosen to coordinate with its colour. It's a lovely way to connect two rings while keeping each design individual.
Optional metallic accents
For additional detail, choose optional copper, 925 silver, palladium or 24ct gold flakes within the opal inlay. Each offers a different contrast alongside the colour of the opal, from warm copper and gold to cooler silver and palladium tones. Or keep the opal on its own and let its colour take centre stage.
Polished or satin titanium finish
Choose a polished finish for a bright, reflective titanium band or a satin finish for a softer, more muted look. Both provide a beautiful setting for the opal, allowing you to tailor the overall appearance to your style.
Graeme machines the titanium band to your selected size and width and prepares the channel ready for Katie's inlay work. Titanium is lightweight and corrosion resistant, offering a comfortable feel alongside the colourful handcrafted detail.

Standard internal engraving is included if selected. For handwriting engraving, please contact us first to check suitability and space. A free ring sizer is available to help confirm your size before we begin making your ring, and free tracked UK delivery is included.
Care
Clean gently with mild soap and water, then dry with a soft cloth. The opal pieces are enclosed beneath a smooth, clear resin finish.

What is the best alternative metal for a wedding ring?
There is no single best metal. It depends on your preference for weight, finish and appearance. Titanium is extremely lightweight, Damascus Steel features unique layered patterns, Black Zirconium offers a deep black finish and Stainless Steel provides strength with a classic silver tone. What is the thickness of the ring?
Our rings are crafted with an approximate thickness of 2 mm. This provides a balanced feel that is substantial enough for durability while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. Each ring is shaped and finished by hand, so there may be very slight variations, but all are designed to maintain a consistent and comfortable profile.
How can I check my size before ordering?
There are several ways to confirm your size: you can be measured at any jeweller and ask for the internal diameter, order a ring gauge yourself and let us know the result, use a ring that already fits and send it to us, or request one of our free ring sizers at checkout.

What happens after I place my order?
After you order, we review your details and begin crafting your ring. If anything needs clarifying, we’ll contact you directly. Once complete, your ring is carefully packaged and sent via tracked UK delivery. You’ll receive tracking details as soon as it’s dispatched.
How long does it take to make a ring?
Most rings are ready within 2–3 weeks, but we recommend allowing 4 weeks before your wedding. Need it faster? Just let us know.
Is engraving included?
Engraving is always free. We can add names, dates, or even your own handwriting inside your wedding ring. To know more about handwriting engraving, take a look at this blog. . If the option is showing on the product listing, it is engravable.
Who actually makes my ring?
Every ring is made to order in our Scottish workshop by hand by Graeme, or G as he is known. We don’t outsource production or hold bulk stock. Your ring is crafted individually once your order is placed, then finished, checked and prepared for dispatch.
What are your return policies?
Because each ring is made to order in your chosen size and finish, returns are not available once production begins. We provide a complimentary ring sizer before crafting to ensure a confident fit.
